Upper-body Side Stripe / Lettering Decals
(1972 Plymouth Duster 340)
Decals are precision-cut to be exactly like the original, using the highest quality 3M vinyl. Second photo shows a decal on an unrestored car. 360, 383, 400, and 440 are custom decals made to look exactly like the original 340 lettering. 1972 numerals were connected to each other, but were ¼" below the pinstripe above them; otherwise, this stripe / engine-size lettering is identical to the 1971 stripe.
Numerals have built-in spacer for easy location. Correctly pre-cut door handle areas. Sections align just right when location instructions are followed. Sufficient wraparound is provided at all sections, no trimming necessary.
Original colors for stripes are matte satin black and gloss white. The quarter panel printed dust cloud was standard on 340 cars. 1972 dealer replacement stripes were gloss black and gloss white with the quarter panel printed dust cloud. We offer these stripes with the printed dust cloud, in matte satin black, gloss black, and gloss white, but no other colors. The stripe without the printed dust cloud, can be ordered in other colors. ● We can design any 3-digit numeral combination (same cost), but certain numbers cannot be connected, as they wouldn't look right (for example, 1, 2, 5, 7).
● Any year A-body fastback (Duster, Demon, or Dart Sport) side stripe will fit any other year A-body fastback (not including Barracuda).
● Does not include "Duster" fenders lettering decals.
