E-body Standard Gauge Faces Decals
(1970-1974 Plymouth Barracuda/Cuda and 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 Dodge Challenger)
Easy to apply! Exact appearance of the original lettering on your instrument panel gauge faceplates! Lettering is sharp, correct-colored printing on no-glare matte black or matte white top-quality 2 mil automotive grade decorative vinyl decal adhesive. Covers flat surface of gauges. All holes and openings are pre-cut in exactly the right places. All gauge face contours are pre-cut. Location index marks are built-in. Detailed instructions included.
WARNING: Needle removal on each instrument is extremely difficult, as is replacement of the needles. Each must be removed for face lettering to be applied.
Steel rivets were used originally to attach each faceplate to its instrument. These rivets will likely be rusty. Small screws and nuts are available from hobby stores, or from PCG. But removal of the original rivets from the faceplates is also extremely difficult.
In addition, the speedometer faceplate on these units is made of steel, and is likely to be seriously rusted on its lower area.
The clock set mechanism is usually falling apart, and parts may be missing. It also is difficult to work with.
Odometer lettering has the correct font for each application, correct size for each row of numerals. Includes instructions for odometer wheel cleaning, number setting, and reinstallation. Shipping is free when ordered with the gauge faces.
